Wednesday Dec 4th STUDENT JAM SESSION (5:30pm) Bringing back the Student Jam that he ran for 2 decades, Dave Flello leads this open opportunity for middle and high school students to get a chance to perform and jam with others. All ages, from any school welcome. Bring your instrument, bring friends, and homework if needed. This session is a chance for the next generation to get their feet wet performing and developing their musical gifts! Followed by the Tom Vickery Trio & Jazz Jam at 7:30.

Thursday Dec 5th Diane Pancel’s Christmas Show: A celebration of R&B favorites sprinkled with just the right amount of holiday cheer. Diane has worked with David Foster, Nelly Furtado, Leanne Rimes, Matt Dusk and the late Linton Garner. She is also the singing voice of “Vegas” character Yvonne Sanchez.
New Orleans Christmas Show Saturday Dec 7th traditional jazz with funk and soul influences; New Orlean classics with a festive twist! Featuring Shanna Dance and Jonnie Bridgman; Thomas Kinzel (Keys) Louis Rudner (Bass) Damian Graham (Drums) Dave Flello(Trumpet) Alexander Ferguson (Vocals).
Sunday Dec 8th Guitarras Navideñas From award winning Nuevo Flamenco guitarist Doug Towle a new show and album celebrating the music of the Christmas season Latin style: taking traditional songs of the season and putting a distinctive Spanish twist on them enjoy – fiery.
Friday Dec. 13th Winter Soulstice: David Vest David has chosen the songs that mean the most to him at this time of the season. As usual, he looks for the stories behind the songs, so that the people who wrote them can become more real to us, and so we can hear the old favourites in a whole new way.
Saturday Dec 14th Returning on academic hiatus, The Phatfunks Present: Guitar Band LIVE Reunited for the winter break – Felicity Baker – Vocals; Kalil Bailey – Guitar/Vocals; Owen Chow – Trumpet; Dave Zellinski – Guitar; Low Alamode – Bass, Sascha Enns – Drums. A tight, high-energy blend of Funk, Soul, Jazz Fusion, and RnB, these cats bring the party, and are not the band to miss.
Sunday Dec 15th Big Hank’s Christmas Blues Show blues, R&B and swing Christmas tunes from the 50’s through the 60’s.
Tuesday Dec 17th. J.D. Rich. With a signature sound that infuses dance-pop music with influences of funk and jazz fusion, songwriter & pianist J.D. Rich performs original music and unique arrangements of popular songs. Beyond his work as J.D. Rich, Jared writes and performs in other genres including jazz, orchestral music, and film scores. His instrumental music has been performed by the Victoria, Vancouver, Toronto and Hollywood Studio Symphony Orchestras.
Wednesday Dec 18th Hermann’s Jazz Jam:: Tom Vickery Trio The trio performs a set followed by two more where musicians (from students to professionals) join on stage. Always different,always great.
Charlie Brown’s Christmas Special Thursday Dec 19th and Friday Dec 20th. 6pm and 9pm A long-standing tradition at Hermann’s Jazz Club, the trio (Brent Jarvis, Sean Drabbit, John Lee) plays Vince Guaraldi’s entire soundtrack to accompany the film projected on a makeshift screen. To celebrate we will have a special ham Christmas dinner on our menu. Very popular – four seatings – reserve early.

Saturday Dec 28th Attila Fias Trio – Home for the Holidays Show. Pianist, composer, arranger and producer, Fias blends of sounds from across the globe reflecting his rich and varied musical background with influences from Canada, Hungary, Brazil, Cuba and India.
